424 Ray Street, formerly 808 N Green, was built between 1850-1855 by Henderson’s first mayor, William B. Vanzandt (Vansant).
It’s been called the old McClain home (William McClain), The Home Mission Sanitarium (1888-1920), City Hospital, the Hutchcraft home, and “The Old Kentucky Mansion”.
The building is currently used as apartments.
