Mrs. M. J. Hopkins died Tuesday at her home in Letcher, Louisiana. Mrs. E. S. McAllister, who is a sister of the dead woman, was notified of the illness and left the first part of the week to attend the bedside. She reached Letcher too late. The body was brought here on the 12:34 L. & N. train last night and will be interred today in Fernwood. A daughter of the deceased is buried in this city.
