The HUB was a clothing store located at 104 N Main.

“The Hub” is the title of the new dry goods and clothing store to be opened tomorrow morning by J. S.
Henrichsen at No. 104 Main street, the stand formerly occupied by W. W. Williams. Mr. Henrichsen and his corps of competent assistants have been exceedingly busy for the past few days opening and arranging the varied and complete stock of all necessities in his line. He will carry the most complete stock of shoes in the city. Of this and the clothing line he will make a specialty. His stocks in the other departments, however, will be just as complete and of the latest up-to-date material and pattern. In fact any and everything that comes under the head of dry goods, notions, shoes, clothing, etc., will be found at “The Hub” and as cheap as the cheapest consistent with quality. It is all new goods and no shop-worn stuff. This is a great fact in the purchase of dry goods and should be borne in mind by prospective purchasers. Mr. Henrichsen has adopted a most excellent business motto: “Your money back if not satisfied with your purchase.” The people of Henderson, Union and Webster counties, with whom Mr. Henrichsen has an extensive acquaintance, can rely upon his adhering strictly to that motto, which means nothing more nor less than that purchasers get value received both in quantity and quality at the hands of the proprietor of “The Hub.” Mr. Henrichsen’s extensive acquaintance and his comprehensive knowledge of the dry goods business will enable him to meet the needs and demands of purchasers in this locality and the Gleaner, with many other friends, bespeaks for Mr. Henrichsen a most successful business career. Lookout for the sign of “The Hub.”
