800 Madison Street was a grocery store with various owners over the years including G. A. Jenkins, Ernest Y Johnson, J. L. McCoy, and in 1944 Fulcher’s Food Stores. The store and residence were sold to the city in 1957 and the area is now part of Fernwood Cemetery.
