The grand opening of the Henn and Lain Co., Inc., dealers in home furnishings, will be held Saturday, according to an announcement made Thursday by Charles Henn and Henly Lain, owners of the new business located at 102 North Main street. The firm will sell all lines of household furnishings, wallpapers paints, rugs and other floor coverings.
The owners stated that they intend to be able to furnish Hender-sonians what they want in the line of furniture and other househoid fixtures. Mr. Henn, former county jailer, has had 20 years in the paint and wall-paper experience and Mr. Lain has worked in the merchandising business for 20 or more years. Tom Jackson will be in the window shade and rug depart-ment. The company is equipped to take orders for custom made shades. Jackson has had 22 years of experience here.
