This birds-eye-view might have been taken from an acroplane, but it wasn’t. It was taken from the roof of the Henderson Brewing Company’s plant and shows the mill built by Audubon, the arnithologist on the right. This mill was transformed into a tobacco factory by the late David Clark and others. The entrance to the Henderson bridge is also shown, together with a view of the levee and what is now Barret Park. The building on the left is the Jarvis tobacco factory, formerly the Henderson Woolen Mills. The John H. Hodge tobacco factory is seen in the distance.
