Burger Farm, owned by Andy Guagenti, opened in 1965 at 2025 US HWY 41 N. It was a partner company of Farmer’s Daughter. The location closed in 1976 and later became a Weiner King, Godfather’s Pizza, and is currently Enterprise Rent-A-Car. (Now 2021 US 41N)

The original Farmer’s Daughter was opened in 1941 by Robert Jacobs. Jacobs sold out to Albert and Freida Patterson three years later. Andy Guagenti purchased it in 1954. The operation was expanded to include Burger Farms, which feature hamburgers and fried chicken. The first, in Henderson, Ky., opened in 1965.
