The brick building that once stood at Washington and Holloway Streets was home to C and G Manion grocery house, and later Reliable Dry Cleaners and Payne’s Dry Cleaning.

Manion at the corner of Washington and Holloway streets, where they occupy the spacious two-story brick building having a ground area of 25×125 feet. They carry a large and complete line of imported and domes-tic, fancy and staple groceries, embracing canned goods, tabie delica-cies, dairy and creamery product, pro-visions, choice coffees, teas, spices and condiments, provisions, etc., as well as a general line of grocers’ sundries, all bought in first market with expert knowledge of values and sold at lowest prices which have secured this firm the large trade it enjoys Both the Messrs. Manions are wide-awake, progressive business men and have other important interests and investments and are large real estate owners. They both have excellent reputations for their honesty, integrity and liberal business methods and number their friends and patrons by the hundreds.
