Karl Henry Beyer was born 28 Jul 1887 Paducah, Kentucky, to Johann Conrad Beyer (1848-1928) and Katherine M. Lehrer (1860-1903).
Karl married Lennie M. Beadles Beyer (1883-1977). The 1930 Census indicates they were married in 1912.
The Beyers lived at 113 Clay Street and raised 3 children: Dr Karl H Beyer Jr, Katherine C Beyer Smith, and Clara Barbara Beyer Mellin.
Karl was graduate of the Chicago Veterinary College and was a doctor of veterinary medicine. He practiced in Henderson from his office at 421/429 First Street and was the county live stock inspector and veterinarian for many years.
Karl Beyer died 23 Jul 1970 (aged 82) and was buried at Fernwood Cemetery / Section 20 / Lot 1523 / Grave 2.
