Edward John Haley was born 26 June 1854 to Joseph Haley and Bridget O’Donohue.
Edward married Mary C. Reutlinger (1864-1934) on 2 Oct 1889 and they had 4 children:

Agnes J Haley
Frederick W Haley
Mary L Haley
Edward ran a successful furniture, china, and house furnishings store at 237 First Street for many years. Edward sold his business in 1918 and became the city tax collector for several years before he and his wife moved to St Louis around 1922.
Edward died 1 Aug 1938 and was buried in Saint Louis Cemetery.
