Herman T. Vogel was born 17 Jan 1865 in Henderson, KY. Herman married Katherine (Katinka) Vogel (1866-1938) in 1887.
In 1901, Herman Vogel, Albert Schreiber, and George Morris formed the Henderson Crystal Ice and Storage Company. They erected a 40-ton ice making plant, with cold storage in connection.
Herman died on 21 Apr 1941 (aged 76) in Evansville, IN from chronic myocarditis due to arteriosclerosis. He is buried in Fernwood Cemetery lot 311, 4.
