I B Walker

I B Walker was a dealer in shelf hardware, edge tools, stoves, ranges, and mantels. His hardware store was located at 108 N Main Street. He was also connected to International Harvester Company for many years.

Ignatius Benedict Walker was born in 1876. Ignatius married Anna May Scott on 11 Jan 1898 in Union County and together had 4 sons and 2 daughters: John, Frank, Raymond, Shellby, Louise and
Margaret.

Anna died 26 Sep 1924. Ignatius remarried in 1926 to Miss Mary McCormick of Hopkinsville, Ky.

Ignatius died in Hopkinsville, Ky in 1942 and was St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Evansville, IN.
