King & Griffin’s One-Stop Service Station was located at the SW corner of Second and Ingram Streets. It opened on 14 Jan 1939 and sold Standard Oil products.

The first station here was built by Standard Oil in 1920.

Formal Opening of New Station Will Be Held Saturday
The modern Standard Oil service station recently completed at the corner of Second and Ingram streets will be officially opened Saturday. Cecil King and C. C. Griffin are operators of the station, which will be known as King & Griffin’s one-Stop Service Station.
A feature of the opening Saturday will be a free gift of a card to purchasers of five gallons of gasoline, or more, good for a car wash or lubrication job when presented at the station with twenty five cents in cash.
The new station is extremely modern in every detail and is equipped with the latest conveniences for giving prompt and efficient one stop service.
The new station will feature a complete line of Standard Oil products, Atlas tires, batteries and accessories. The public is cordiajly invited to visit the new station during the formal opening Saturday from 7 a. m. until 9 p. m.
