Edward Snyder Has Invented a Pair of Pedal “Gondolas” With Which He Walks on the Ohio.

Edward Snyder, a well known young man of this city, is said to be preparing to make of himself a second Prof. Oldrieve, and make a trip on water. His first attempt will be made in some pond near the city and, if successful, he will try deeper water.

Fred Paff has the shoes on exhibition in his grocery in the Eastern part of the city.

It is not known what the extent of the daring young man’s trip will be, or whether he will travel north or south, but, so ’tis said, Mr. Paff will follow with a skiff.
