The Morgan Floral Company was incorporated in 1907, and the next year, the company erected its glass greenhouses, covering almost 19,000 square feet, and its office on the corner of Second and Clark Streets, a block from the new Union railroad station. The company advertised that it grew “all descriptions of flowering plants, shrubs, and ferns” with particular attention to the cultivation of carnations.
