BEAUTIFUL PARKLAND LOTS TO BE SOLD
The Gleaner • Thu, Sep 07, 1905
Charles F. Kleiderer has concluded to place on the market this fall about fifty splendid residence lots in “Park-land.” This property is situated opposite Atkinson Park and lies on the right of Elm street, beginning at Twelfth. Mr. Kleiderer has been engaged at odd times for the past year grading this property and will set to work at once to complete the work, in order to get the lots ready for sale at an early date.
Mr. Kleiderer owns quite a large tract of land, a great deal of which lies close to the street car line and in close proximity to this magnificient park, hence the addition is named “Parkland”
All of the lots in this addition will be conveniently laid off with reference to streets and alleys, concrete pavements will be laid in front of each lot, and where desirable the lots will be nicely terraced. No expense will be spared in preparing these lots, so that the addition will be considered the most beautiful and desirable in the city for the extension of building of the better sort. The fact that this property lies convenient to the car line, in close proximity to Henderson’s splendid park site, and are beautifully situated, commanding an attractive view of the surrounding country for miles, and that he is preparing the lots with such care, will doubtless attract purchasers who desire such property for building purposes or speculation.
Notice 13th Street was named “Kleiderer Ave” and 14th Street was “Parkland Boulevard”.
The first new residence to be erected in Parkland was 1316 N Elm for Charles F. Kleiderer.
