The Golden Moon Candy Shop was a soda fountain and confectionery located on N Main between 1922-1926.

It’s difficult to determine who actually owned and operated the business as several names came up in research:
Mike Malias (Maiias)
Gus Manatis (Matilas)
Michael J. Morris

Gus Manatis (Matilas) is a likely candidate as I located a record of him living in Paducah in 1926 operating a candy wagon and the 1930 US census showed him operating as a street candy vendor.
